Snow in Laos Cold in the Philippines Houses buried by snow in Turkey Cold in Pakistan, Bangladesh and Thailand Record snow in Korea First snow in Guangzhou in China in 88 years First ever snow on Okinawa First recorded snow in the country of Kuwait.
First snow recorded 300 mi south of Hanoi in Vietnam where it's so cold they're lighting fires under their buffalos to try and keep them from freezing to death. They already lost 9,000 head of various livestock and over 41,000 poultry birds to the cold. Vietnamese are running around covered in trash bags since they don't have winter clothes.
Global Warming my ass!!!!!!!!!!!

But it is about 55 degrees here in Communist Massachusetts and I am enjoying it. Of course, it is fascinating that there is snow in tropical Vietnam; however, global warming is actually good for people. It means more meat to consume since the livestock have a longer grazing period; also, it means more grain foodstuff for people since not only does wheat have a longer growing period, but there is time for cereal grains. The luddites may ignore the medieval growing period, but people know about it.

Higher CO2 is good for plants and thus good for us also. Proxy evidence indicates that for most of this earths knowable history CO2 levels have been higher than they are now. Quite often much higher even during periods when terrestrial animals, including mammals roamed the earth. More CO2 = more greening, larger harvests, potentially more forests, and faster and larger growing plants and trees.
