It is NOT "unprecedented" as some on the news are claiming. Let us put it into perspective. On Memorial day 80 years ago here is what happened: Oh, and BTW, just so you all know. Everything in my part of the state is flooded and cresting. The forecast shows rain every day for the next week. Tonight is our wedding anniversary and it is thunderstorming as I type. I'm not complaining, but I sure don't get to do what i want to in a timely manner.

Finally, a respite from the rain. Nice cool spring type days thus far. The rain washed out many roads and thus made pot holes even bigger than when the last ice storms blew through here.
