She has been fighting migraines for years. The last year or so she has been down on average one day a week. Finally she had one so severe that she had a bad nose bleed and was sick for days. So after 22 years working at my family's business she put in her two weeks notice. Luckily we can do just fine without here paycheck. It's just getting things like her 401K and health insurance straightened out. Now I can look forward to home cooked meals and my wife being happier and better rested and thus both of us being happier. I wanted her to hold out a little longer but seeing her down so much convinced me that this is the thing to do now. Leaving the stress of the job will help her I great deal I think. There is no problem with this with the family though I suspect that they may miss her more than they think they will right now. She has customers and vendors the only want to speak to her.
