A "major storm" is classified as a storm that is a Category III or higher. This is based on the Saffire-Simpson hurricane wind scale.
Yep, that's a long time! In fact it is a hiatus that no American alive has ever experienced.
But that is not the real point. The point is that NASA GISS which supports the global warming meme which is based on the idea that computer generated climate models can predict what the climate will do now declares that "It could just be luck" that the US has seen not major hurricane make landfall in nine years. Well the fact is that the formation and track of hurricanes are forecasted using what? Yep you guessed it, computer models!
So the same people that proclaim they can forecast climate changes and that we are heading towards untold catastrophes because of human caused climate change are telling us that it is "just a matter of luck" that the US hasn't been hit?
