Yesterday Sherri and I went to work on the corner bedroom. Sherry had already steam cleaned the carpet and cleaned and organized the large closet. We put down drop clothes and I tore out the old crappy crown molding. Wiped down the walls and removed register. I removed the blades and frosted glass light globe from the very nice ceiling fan we have in there. Speckled all the nail holes. Then we masked and painted ceiling and walls. Plaster swirl ceiling done in artists white. Walls in a medium light cream color they called "Bamboo stem".
Today we tear out old baseboard and install new baseboard and crown molding and install new blinds. The room will be ready for the new bedroom set that will be delivered Monday. All clean and new. The old dressers from that room will be delivered to Habitat for Humanity this morning.
Getting this done and seeing the results so far has motivated me to get started on other inside projects as time allows during this busy time of year. Dinning room is next.
