They pretty much ran me out of hours so now I have to take a 34 hour break but it has to be more than 34 hours because of the new hours of service rules. Won't be available to run until 05:00 Thursday morning.
Sherry and I bought a new bed room set. Queen size sleigh bed with two large drawers in the foot board, dresser with mirror, mens tall boy dresser, and two bed side tables. One of the tables has a hidden multi-plug hook up for charging stuff. Very good quality stuff. Walnut. Drawers are all real wood with cedar bottoms except the top ones in each dresser are felt lined. Bought an excellent mattress for the bed which uses a slat foundation without box springs.
We are repainting and doing some things like changing the base boards and trim on the widows and repainting the registers and inlet duct in the bed room that was my daughter's and we're turning it into the master bedroom. Our bedroom now will become the guest bedroom and we're going to buy a new mattress for it's queen size bed. Ever so gradually we're renovating this house. Now that Sherry is retired She has the time to do some things.
The kitchen is done and after we get our bed room the way we want it the next project is the dinning room. Repaint it, trim out the windows, new ceiling fan/light fixture. It has a hardwood floor and we're still on the fence on that. We may just refinish the existing oak floor and put a new area rug down. Anyway this desk I'm sitting at here in the dining room is going away and a new desk will be set up in the small bedroom which will be converted to an office.
After years of searching I have found a two drawer fire proof locking file cabinet that is in great condition. I really is more like a safe and is so heavy no one is going to break in and walk off with it. It will have the room I need to secure and protect our important papers and valuables.
